We had our nieces partner Dale Ward & Mate Jake Coxon back up for a bit of fishing recently – Dale loving my new Shimano Ocea / Stella SW combo !

With only a one day window in the weather during their visit we shot up the island to see if we could find a few tuna – Dale scoring our 1st one before Arch cliffs

The conditions actually glassed out by mid-morning with quite a few spottie schools up on the chew – Jake with his 1st spottie

We came across a pod of BIG longtails chasing longtoms and flying fish off Roonies with Dale hooking up immediately !

I even managed to get out from behind the wheel to score a good Queeny to finish off what was a great day on the water !
