Chloe Taylor & Tom Laurence ( www.shefishes.com.au/ ) missed out on getting any longtails during their last visit before Christmas – so we got them back up again for another week to see if we could tick them a couple of other species off their bucket list ……

We also put in some time working the flats for both longtails and queenfish on stickbaits when the sun was out ….

Tom managed to land a couple before the sharks moved in – with Chloe missing out this trip after pulling the hooks on a couple of big fish and being sharked on another couple !

Mac Tuna

There have been some BIG mac tuna about this season !

We even came across a few longtails off the top of Big Woody one morning ..

We did a wide run out to the gutters in search of a cobia on their last day – but just couldn’t drive past longtails busting up along the way

We even came across a school of striped tuna and Chloe dropped a lovely dolphin fish as well !

Unfortunately we didn’t come across any cobia – but Chloe did manage a little AJ

I even managed to “whip” up this little kingfish

We dropped a few baits on a couple of marks on the way home and scored a tasty tusky & snapper to finish off another great day on the water
