After 6 years and around 800 engine hours – the time has come to upgrade our amazing Haines Signature 543sf – with a New One 😉
Exciting times- that’s our new hull right there 😉 Note the RuPly transom which is an F8 ACQ treated marine ply. The reason The Haines Group use this material is that each of the veneers of the ply is impregnated with treatment before being joined as one panel. This means that when the panels are cut and drilled into they don’t lose their integrity and don’t require resealing. This is important when the material is going to have bungholes, engine bolt holes and transducers mounted in it. The Haines Group regularly inspect the ply as it arrives and if not up to their standards it’s replaced. The Haines Group / Signature motto is ” Quality first – Build it as if YOU are going to own it” 😉

Our deck came out of the mould this week – its actually they 1st Grey Deck poured for a 543SF 😉
And that’s our Console base and top 😉
Spent a morning with the team at The Haines Group this week to finalise the electronics layout for our Console on our Signature 543sf – it is going to look like the flight deck on the “Enterprise” 😉

We had to have a custom base made to lift the Lowrance HDS LIVE 16 so it would sit above the 12 on the console 😉

The Redarc system allows us to run Revolution Power Orange Top Lithium Batteries to run the Minn Kota 24 volt system and also the 12-volt house battery for the rest of the electronics. One is a dc-dc charger with the other three being voltage converters for the electric. Fitted by Steve and Dave at https://www.revolutionpoweraustralia.com.au/
We are running a Lowrance HDS LIVE 12 on the bow this time alongside the Minn Kota Terrova 24volt 80lb motor
The Haines group now offer custom foam decking and rod locker infills 😉
Our 543sf is the 1st Haines Signature to have Zipwake Dynamic Trim Controls fitted 😉 We also have a cool LED underwater light system fitted under the Jack Plate 🙂
We are excited to have a Mercury ProSX 150 on the transom this time round – mounted to an Atlas 5″ black hydraulic jack plate
We have had the base supports for the lean bars reinforced this time to allow a second frame we had custom made to carry Relax T-Topper outrigger bases 😉
